MILAN RETAIN INTEREST IN MAN UNITED STAR

Even though it continues to look highly unlikely that a deal would be happening anytime soon, Italian Serie A giants AC Milan have remained adamant that they still want to sign Manchester United star DiogoDalot. The Portugal international right-back has continued to impress so far this season under current boss Ralf Ragnick and as his stock has continued to rise since the German manager took over at the club as he’s preferred the Portuguese star over Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Bissaka has seen his role at United quite limited and has played in less games so far this season, making Dalot the strong favorite to finish the season as the starting option in the right-back spot at Old Trafford. Dalot’s spell on loan at the San Siro some months ago earned him huge praise from Milan manager and a lot of affection from the fans of the club as well as he became a very important player for them before returning to United. However, it was immediately after his return to becoming a Manchester United player that Milan started to show interest in signing him permanently. Even if it has ever looked like a deal was possible to happen, the chances of Dalot leaving United are now extremely low. However, according to reports from sources in Italy, Milan are expected to still try and convince United to let go of the player. It is believed that the Italian giants could place a bid for Dalot in the summer, especially with the Red Devils expecting to hire a new manager in the same summer window. There could still be a possibility by then, as the incoming manager may either prefer Wan-Bissaka or decide to by another full-back either in the summer or during the winter transfer window.
